HorizonShield uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the platform secure, remember your preferences, and understand how the product is used in aggregate. This page explains what they do and how to control them.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — keep you signed in, route your session correctly, and protect against forged requests. Required for the platform to work.
- Functional — remember your language, theme, and dashboard layout preferences across visits.
- Analytics — help us see which pages and flows are used most so we can prioritize improvements. We use privacy-respecting first-party analytics.
What we never do
- We do not embed cross-site advertising or remarketing pixels
- We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties
- We do not use cookies to build profiles of individuals across the wider internet
How long they last
Most cookies expire when you close your browser. Preference cookies may persist for up to twelve months. Analytics cookies are limited to short retention windows. Exact lifetimes are documented in the in-product privacy panel.
Your control
You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and may prevent the platform from loading correctly.
Browser tracking signals
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. When set, we treat your visit as a "do not sell or share" preference, which is already our default.
